Importing from LinkedIn

Fill in your profile from a file you download from LinkedIn yourself. We never scrape LinkedIn.

Get your file from LinkedIn

You can use either of these. Both come straight from LinkedIn to you.

  • Profile PDF: on your LinkedIn profile, open Resources (or More) and choose Save to PDF.
  • Data export: in LinkedIn's settings, go to Data privacy → Get a copy of your data. LinkedIn emails you a ZIP file.

Import it

  1. Step 1: Open the import page

In Settings → Integrations, select Import a file next to LinkedIn.

  2. Step 2: Choose your PDF or ZIP

We read the file once to build a preview.

  3. Step 3: Check each detail

Every field shows what's on your profile now and what the file says. Keep, skip or fix each one.

  4. Step 4: Save

Only the details you choose are saved.

What we keep

  • We don't keep your file. Only the details you save are stored.
  • Imported details are labeled as imported from LinkedIn. They're never shown as verified.
  • You can change any of them on your profile at any time.

Important

We never sign in to LinkedIn for you or read LinkedIn pages. The file you upload is the only thing we use.
