Study groups

Study a free course with others. Your progress stays private unless you share a one-line status.

Start a group

  1. Step 1: Open Learn → Study groups

    Your groups are listed here.

  2. Step 2: Name the group and choose a free course

Only free courses can have groups for now.

  3. Step 3: Invite people

    Share an invite link.

What other members see

Your progress is private. If you write a status, members see that one line and nothing else: no lesson history, quiz scores, time spent or graded work.

Illustration: Members see a status only if you choose to share one.

Note

Being in a group doesn't give anyone access to a course. Each member needs their own access.

Staying safe

  • You can leave a group at any time.
  • Report the group, a member or a discussion post to the moderators. The person you report isn't told who sent it.
  • Teen groups are moderated and private: they never show up in search, and new members wait for a moderator to approve them.
